We Need Land

By far the most difficult, and time-consuming, part of the house-building process is finding suitable land and obtaining planning permission. We fully support the principle that open countryside must be preserved but the planning system in the UK makes even the redevelopment of the brownest of brownfield sites a massively difficult, expensive and protracted process. Working within these constraints and countering unfounded objections is what we’re good at.

We welcome approaches from land owners wanting to explore development opportunities on their property so if you have, or know of, land which might be suitable for development, please contact us. This applies even if previous planning applications have been rejected, as that’s where our skills come into play.

Any approach is treated with confidentiality and we’ll give an immediate assessment of the prospect when we see the land. We’ll then do some background research before making a proposal. In most cases we enter into an Option Agreement with the landowner where we take all the risk and pay all the costs of a planning application, with a time-limited option to buy the land. Alternatively we can offer outright purchase, promotion agreements or joint-ventures, all of which can be discussed.
